Hello! My name is Gemma and my son, Max, is an 11-year-old animal lover who enjoys taking care of pets. According to Pawshake rules, Max will always be accompanied by a parent. I have a lot of experience as I'm the housesitting part of the team and a mother of 5 boys, so you can trust us completely.
We are available after 3:30 pm on Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 4 pm on holidays and weekends. I also have some flexibility during the weekdays, so I could take care of your pets without my son if needed.
Our services cover Stanmore Bay, Arkles Bay, and Manly. We will walk your pets locally in parks or at the beach near your home. We live in Stanmore Bay and have a very patient cat named Boots who is the same age as Max. We have experience in taking care of pets for neighbours and friends by feeding them, brushing them, regularly walking them, and cleaning up after them.
We are happy to look after smaller pets like fish or turtles, and we are willing to discuss costs depending on the type of animal and the work required. 
When it comes to house and pet sitting, I'm the one who takes care of that as it gives me some much-needed time out. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced pet sitter who is passionate about providing the best care to your furry friends. I specialise mainly in cats and dogs, but have looked after misc. other animals including chickens, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and fish. Dogs are done on a case by case basis depending on my availability and size of the dog (I have trouble walking larger dogs).&nbsp;&nbsp;
My services as pet minder/pet sitter is to visit your home once a day to tend to all your pet(s)' needs, which will always include pet feeding, filling up their water bowls and off course lots of attention and reassurance! I can also offer other services as pet sitter/pet minder i.e. cleaning of cages. Happy to water plants (within reason) and clear mailbox put out garbage etc. too.

We cannot wait to welcome your pooch into our house for the best holiday they’ve ever had! A home away from home, your beloved furbaby is in safe hands. Having grown up on a farm, I have been around animals my whole life. Prior to my current role in the finance and investments sector, I worked at the SPCA for 3 years and was privileged to meet and snug so many puppers over that time! 
Over the last 6 years I have also been lucky to foster many dogs and puppies through charities such as the Saving Hope Foundation &amp; the SPCA. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge in taking care of your furbabies. I am also experienced in the care and handling of disabled dogs, anxious and or excitable dogs, large dogs and bull breed dogs. My partner and I owned a beautiful dog called Lettie, she was an 8 year old three legged pitbull with a metal knee. After 7 precious years with her on earth, she sadly passed away in August 2023. With her we went through the experience of an amputation, and a cruciate ligament surgery and are therefore experienced in post surgery care and needs. Our other dog, Coco, is a 9 year old Boston terrier who loves having company and kisses!
There are no out of bounds areas in our house, but having fostered a variety of dogs I am also very familiar with routine and can accomodate any requirements or requests. I completely understand how hard it can be to go on holiday with the thought of being away from your pet, and that’s why I ensure my house will be a 'home away from home' ️
We live in the picturesque Hibiscus Coast and live 2 minutes from the beach. We enjoy daily beach walks but also have a variety of choice for local parks, if your dog prefers somewhere more quiet.

Hi there! My name is Jasmine, I'm 20 years old, and I have a strong adoration for all animals. I currently live in Orewa.  When I'm not looking after pets, you'd usually find me studying for my nursing degree, or working casually in healthcare. I'm a third year student, so you can be rest assured that your beloved furry friend is in capable, nurturing hands! I am an outdoorsy kind of person and would describe myself as kind, bubbly, reliable, and compassionate for the needs of others.
Whether your pet is big, small, or anything in between, I'd love to cater to their every need, when they need it. I have always been an animal lover and have grown up around all different sorts of animals throughout my entire life. Before living on the Hibiscus Coast, I grew up on a farm with many different animals from cows, sheep, chickens, and horses, to turkeys, guineafowls, and alpacas! I also have extensive knowledge and experience in owning and caring for smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. I used to ride and own ponies, however that has been put on pause for now while I pursue my studies. On top of the animal experience, I also have experience in house sitting (and babysitting) for friends and family!
I was really drawn to house/pet sitting due to the fact that I love animals and helping others. As a bonus, I am quite flexible in regards to my availability. This allows me to prioritise your pets regularly, and I can usually work around your schedule! I am happy to provide a range of services such as dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting in the comfort of their own environment (unfortunately, I am not able to have any pets stay in my own home). 
I am more than willing to organise myself in a way that aligns with you and your pets needs. I am available Monday to Friday for overnight stays, and Monday to Sunday for other services such as home visits and dog walking. My pet sitting will entail anything that is typically in your pets regular routine such as walking, grooming, feeding, enrichment, etc. I am also happy to administer any medication that your pet may need. I am able to take your pup for a walk for however long they require (from 30 minutes to 2 hours), as I am a relatively fit person and am used to being on my feet for extended periods.
I take pride in being a neat and tidy person, therefore, I am also happy to help with any additional tasks such as cleaning, caring for plants, putting out the rubbish, and bringing in the mail amongst other things, during my sits.

house sitting: When you can't be there for your pet, i'm here to stand in. I am a clean and tidy individual who will leave your home exactly as I found it, making sure your pets are well looked after in the process. I take home security seriously and will take extra care to lock up, close windows and do any specific home security measures that you may request.

My name is Georgia, I have loved animals since I was young, growing up on a farm milking cows and rearing calves and pigs and lambs. I have volunteered for animal rescues. I've owned all sorts of pets such as goats and horses, family dogs, Juno the rabbit, a cat or 3, and now our beloved puppy Ziggy Stardust. 
He is a beautiful desexed mix breed that was rescued from the SPCA 2 years ago and he has grown up with my children, he lives a fantastic life with 3-4 weekly runs and walks on the beach and loves other dogs so the company benefits him as well. He's a playful boy but knows his boundaries. 
I am available to walk your dog in and around the Snells Beach area. There are plenty of off lead areas and beaches.
