We are Megan, Mark and Marvin, an active family of 3 humans and one fur baby, Louis, with some chickens and goats, also a part of our family. We live on a small lifestyle block and enjoy getting out and about on the weekends, taking Louis to the beach and local dog parks.
We have been animal lovers and owners throughout our lives, and we have owned our dog Louis for almost 3 years. We want to open our home for pet sitting as Louis is extremely social and loves the company of other dogs, we are unable to get a second dog currently, but we love seeing him so happy playing with other dogs.
We are offering our home for boarding and pet sitting services to fully vaccinated and well-socialised dogs who will be comfortable around a young but dog confident toddler, a playful 3-year-old border collie and small and large farm animals. Our house is single level and dog-friendly, no dog kennels or sleeping outside. We have a large paddock of our own as well as a park a short dog-friendly walk away – where local dogs gather in the evenings for their daily walks. We also have access to a rural family property a short drive away for farm walks and swims in the pool in the summer.
Meet and greet preferred however this can be waived if you can provide an emergency contact and confirm that your dog is toilet-trained, well socialised and conformable around young children and farm animals.

We have a few pets ourselves: a little 13 yr old pomeranian X papillon dog named Star (Little Bear), and 16 beautiful chickens. We are frequently visited by wild doves that have kind of become our pets too! As a family we love adventure, nature, healthy living, music, animals, books, creativity &amp; philosophy. We are hoping to own a farm very soon so that we can own lots more animals and enjoy the beauty of nature. We believe in a gentle and respectful way of caring for animals, so you can be assured that your pet will be well cared for. We have done house-sitting previously and also looked after animals. We are happy to care for any type of pet and look after them at our home. Our cottage has a spacious fully fenced verandah with a gate, and a lot of grassy land for leashed walks around the property. We can take your pets for walks down the road too and we have a stunning local park which is just 4 minutes drive away, if you would like us to give them some outdoor off-leash time at a big field! She was born in 2011 and she loves curling up in cosy warm places: on her owners laps, lounging in front of the fireplace, spending time in her tipi, and resting in the sunshine. She likes to chase tennis balls, and she especially likes anything tiny and round; even in her old age I've seen her play with guavas, peas, and tiny pinecones - rolling on them and throwing them up in the air with her nose and paws. She tends to be a sensitive soul and usually takes a little time to warm up to new people and creatures, but once she's finished analyzing them she treats them as part of the family. Star brings us much joy and we love having her in our family!


Hi, I'm Mandy, new to this page. During holidays I have some free time (I'm a teacher) to pet sit or look after your special animal companion. Then after it would be weekends and some Thurs/Fridays when I work from home.  As I have a small dog myself, would prefer to look after dogs only.  They can be medium-sized dogs but breed dependent.  My dog: Winston Paws is a Bichon poodle Cavalier, he is 8 years old and recently trained as a St Johns therapy dog. He enjoys playing with other dogs (as long as he can tell them that they need to follow his rules ) See #mrwpaws on insta.
Overnight stay and day stay dogs will also get at least a 1 hour walk in a local park, lots of human time, plays and rests. My house is dog friendly, with outside and inside play spaces.  Outside is fully fenced with artificial grass areas, cobblestones and digging spaces.  Inside, dogs are generally allowed on beds and couches.I have no children so your dog will get lots of attention and I'm happy to send you regular updates/pics if required. It is important that your dog is  vaccinated, deflea-ed, toilet trained and socialised.

Hi, I am Alicia! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing. I am a qualified Vet Nurse Assistant and have a NZ certificate in Companion Animal Technology as well as a second NZ Certificate in Companion Animal Care. I own a variety of animals including a large staffy cross ridgeback dog so I am confident in working with animals of all sizes and ages.
I have previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, at a cattery and dog walking as well. I have experience administering medications and am confident to do so. I am passionate about animals and I will ensure the safety and care of your pet is of the utmost quality.
I offer daily or twice daily drop-in services and house sitting (overnight or during the day). I also offer pick-up's and drop-off's if needed and constant supervision.

Our toddler absolutely loves dogs and cats and he is over the top cuddly with them. We will only look after dogs that are really good with kids. They need to be tolerant and would need to be able to cope with the hugs and kisses and cuddles that Ollie has to offer them. We obviously give the dog and Ollie a break by keeping them seperate sometimes so the dog gets his peace of mind.

***We are located in Albany, Auckland***
Our family have plenty of experience with animals. I had a family dog growing up, called Oscar who was my little bestie. We have also fostered 6 dogs before they have gone to their ‘forever homes’ and I've looked after friends pets when they've gone awaay. 
I have two daughters (10 and 7) who are incredibly gentle and love animals just as much as I do. Regularly asking politely to go and pat other peoples dogs and ensuring they put their hands down to let your doggo 'smell' them. 
Your pet will get an overflow of love and cuddles when they come for a sleepover at our house. We have the perfect property for dogs (medium or small), it's fully fenced with a decent amount of grass. 
A bit about me, i'm a mother of two studying nursing. I love being active - going for runs, walks and going to the gym. Regularly go on hikes and to the beach. I'm home a lot, so your fury friend won't be lonely.
