Hi I'm Hannah! I'm 19. I'm a first year psychology and english major at University of Auckland and work part time retail at Bed Bath and Table during the weekends. 
I have two boxers, Bailey and Winston, two cats - socks and Mr pim, and two frogs! I've also had several rabbits and mice throughout my childhood. I absolutely love animals, their cuteness and awesome personalities.&nbsp;
We live in a lovely area with lots of space, parks, beach and more. Our favourite place to take our dogs is a dog beach in huia, but if we're not feeling like a drive, our neighbourhood has lots of short walks and open field parks for our furry friends to go wild!
I'm also going to Europe in July for 6 months! So this is not only something that is a great interest of mine, it would also be very beneficial for my upcoming trip. Being a full-time student is very difficult to find time to work especially doing something I would enjoy which is why is opportunity would be awesome and motivating for me. 
I have experience for doing small jobs like looking after neighbours and friends pets, like cat sitting for family friends, feeding neighbourhood cats and dogs, however the most obvious being that I've been looking after my own pets for years! For example; training, feeding, walking, and grooming our big pups. 

I am available as a sitter all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some odd days I will have free especially during my mid semester break. 

I'm interested in doing jobs like taking your animals on walks, feeding and grooming them, and house sitting and looking after pets overnight if necessary. I'm happy with administering medication and any sort of particular care needed.

Hi my name is Tanya and I am 31 years old. I live with my husband and my 2 teenagers aged 17 and 15 out west in Green Bay. I have a 12 year old Lowchen named Spike who is a bit of a grouchy old dog now. I also have a 3 year old Labradoodle who absolutely loves everything and everyone. I have always loved dogs (some people would even say I am a bit obsessed with dogs) and ever since I was little I have wanted to have a dog of my own. Your dog will be well looked after as we have a lot of people to love him/her and give lots of kisses and cuddles. I tend to use the weekends to take the dogs to Kakamatua Beach or other dog friendly parks. Your dog ofcourse would be welcome on our trips as well and I know our Labradoodle would enjoy some company as well. When we are in the house your pooch will have the free space to roam around and play (both inside and out). We can provide food for your dog (at an extra cost) or you can drop off your treats and foods with your pooch. We ask that you also drop off comfort things along with your dog because we understand and know that it is not an easy time for your dog child to be without you either. We would only be able to take dogs who are good with kids and other dogs. At the moment our availability is weekends (including long weekends and Public Holidays) and weeknights if you need a dog sitter for a couple of hours. However I do have some requirements: your dog must be vaccinated, toilet trained and flea treated and your dog must be social and not have separation anxiety. I work as a researcher in Animal Computer Interaction, which does not mean I think computers are the solution. I do really love working with activation and enrichment and helping animals live their best lives. For this, lots of tangible objects are involved along with careful observation of interactions. As well, I do some research work with zoo animals and types of useful monitoring technologies to detect situations that are difficult for the animals. I am always changing up activations for my own Kleiner Münsterländer (an active hunter, even at 11 years) dog and garden-rescue cat.&nbsp;
I am happy to do home visits and also to dog walk and play with your animals. My sessions would be for at least 30 minutes per animal. I can walk and home visit locally in New Lynn and surrounding areas as well as I am in the city most days at the gym and the office (AUT, Head of Research for School of Future Environments) and as you would need me to be. I would call in on the animals on the way to and from the workplace and the gym. I can provide oral medications and some walking and play training. I can walk up to 2 dogs daily and do up to 2 home visits.  I have a large fully-fenced backyard. I have been researching and working with companion animals since 2011 and we've always had cats n' dogs in the family. I am told I have a rapport with animals and they are drawn to me. I'm certainly very happy hanging out with and being around animals. And they seem to reciprocate. I don't agree with any aversive methods of training or animal care. Animal Welfare and quality of life are very important to me, so I prefer you would provide a harness to walk your dog. I am a strong advocate for 'Do No Harm Dog Training' and am happy to work with your dog with positive training methods to achieve this.&nbsp;


Kia ora! I’m based in Auckland, where I live with my partner and our dog. Our dog was originally rescued in Spain, and after a year, we relocated to Singapore. A decade later, we made the move to New Zealand. He loves traveling as much as we do!
I’m a passionate dog lover (animal lover actually) with extensive experience handling all types of dogs. Over the years, I’ve volunteered at dog shelters and wildlife rescue centres and I used to work for many years for an international wildlife conservation non profit organisation. I take care of animals because I love them and I want to help, which is why my price is significantly cheaper!
My job offers great flexibility, which is why I am keen to helping others with their pets. I bring my dog every day for long walks around the park, bush or the beach (Mount Eden is our favorite place to go!). He would love to have a friend tagging along!

Hi there,
I am a 25 year old from Auckland. My family had a black Labrador called Tiki who passed way last year and who I miss being able to walk and hang out with! So I have joined Pawshake to find other great dogs to be able to take out and about. As I work as a nurse my hours are always changing, so I am pretty flexible with time/days for offering dog walking.&nbsp;
I have always loved dogs and having had a Labrador who is very full of life I am confident in taking larger dogs out for walks. I can offer 30-90 minute dog walks and will give your dog a great run around. I live locally on the North Shore but also have my own car so I am able to pick up and drop off your dog, depending on the distance.&nbsp;
I don't have my own lead, treats or dog bags so these would need to be supplied by the owner. I am also happy to walk multiple dogs together if you have more than one dog.&nbsp;
