I have two dogs, chihuahua who's basically a cat and a pitty staffy puppy (8mo) and I've always loved animals and everyone who I've met and know, know that I'm extremely good with animals (animal whisperer if I say so myself) I have multiple other animals (horses, cats, axolotls and chickens) I help my mother at work but I'm free most of the time :) I'm in the process getting a job and or studying vet/animal care, it's quite hard to get a job at the moment unfortunately but I SWEAR your dog will be loved and looked after, lots of kisses and cuddles of course. I'm also very good with people and have worked two customer service jobs ( waitressing ) which was really great and loved seeing people happy. Another job was working at a gas station (Z gas in Whangaparāoa and manly) as a CSR "customer service representative" and I LOOOOVED it.
I can't have any dogs on my property unfortunately at the moment as I have just moved in but maybe in the future I can :)
I'm happy to take your doggos for walkies and don't mind checking in on them if you're away or at work.
I can stay the night or a few if they need company or medications or to be watched, I have an old dog who needs to take medication so I have experience with that.

Hi there. My name is Sarah and I am a 29yo female. I currently rent in Blackbridge Rd on a small farm and love being around animals. I very sadly do not have any pets of my own at this stage but would love to help you care for yours.
I grew up with a Scottish Terriers (the most stubborn of all the terriers), bunnies and rescue cats and loved them dearly. My adopted cat Fred was a great SPCA rescue, a smoochy boy and a chatterbox. He surprised us all and lived till 20, needing daily meds near the end. This gave me experience in getting liquid meds into a stubborn old man cat 
I have experience with larger animals too. I was a competitive horse rider for 20yrs and from age 13 I was solely caring for my horses by myself (parents are terrified of horses). This involved daily feeding and care, medical and dental needs, cleaning, training and towing my horse around the country. I have attended several horse first aid course and am a qualified human first aider. There are sheep and horses on the property  live at, and I care for them when the owners are away. 
I have flexibility in my work schedule so can work from home when needed. 
I am an experienced and reliable pet sitter who would love to help you care for your pets. I know it can be tricky when you go away or with older pets to feel comfortable trusting someone to look after your pets as you would. Abit of me
It's been over a year since I was last active on Pawshake, but I'm looking forward to getting back into it and meeting new people and their furry favourites. If it's not obvious already, I love animals. They have always been close to my heart and one day I'd love to incorporate my passion for animals and hope for better mental health within people, in a way that is healing for both the animal and human. Dogs are my fortè, however I am confident with all other household pets.
I currently manage a dog day care where I've been for almost 4 years now and absolutwly live it. I was living in London and running my own doggy daycare from home (which I am happy to gather references from if need be) and absolutely loved it. The idea of running around with pups all day was a no brainer for me really!
I picked up some online courses whilst working and completed Pet first aid, Animal care level 3 and canine communications among other ingouse qualifications whilst at dog daycare.
Services
House sitting - As I work full time if your pets are comfortable at home for the day I have no problem house sitting during weekdays, will happily discuss further. Whilst staying in your home your dogs will get min 1x 1 hour walk, generally longer and/or multiple on a nice day. I'll care for both your home and pets like my own. Washing, feeding and medicating any pets that need it and keeping your house spick and span, just the way you left it.

Hello! My name is Gemma and my son, Max, is an 11-year-old animal lover who enjoys taking care of pets. According to Pawshake rules, Max will always be accompanied by a parent. I have a lot of experience as I'm the housesitting part of the team and a mother of 5 boys, so you can trust us completely.
We are available after 3:30 pm on Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 4 pm on holidays and weekends. I also have some flexibility during the weekdays, so I could take care of your pets without my son if needed.
Our services cover Stanmore Bay, Arkles Bay, and Manly. We will walk your pets locally in parks or at the beach near your home. We live in Stanmore Bay and have a very patient cat named Boots who is the same age as Max. We have experience in taking care of pets for neighbours and friends by feeding them, brushing them, regularly walking them, and cleaning up after them.
We are happy to look after smaller pets like fish or turtles, and we are willing to discuss costs depending on the type of animal and the work required.

When I'm not looking after pets, you'd usually find me studying for my nursing degree, or working casually in healthcare. My pet sitting will entail anything that is typically in your pets regular routine such as walking, grooming, feeding, enrichment, etc. I am also happy to administer any medication that your pet may need. I am able to take your pup for a walk for however long they require (from 30 minutes to 2 hours), as I am a relatively fit person and am used to being on my feet for extended periods.

I am a clean and tidy individual who will leave your home exactly as I found it, making sure your pets are well looked after in the process. I take home security seriously and will take extra care to lock up, close windows and do any specific home security measures that you may request.

I am a mature, vibrant kiwi women who has always been a bit of a gypsy. Having lived in Asia and Australia for the past 20+ years I returned two years ago to my homeland. I have been house-sitting since the end of 2022, taking care of cats and dogs and sometimes farm animals.&nbsp;
