I am 21 years old with my level 3 certificate in animal care through the National Trade academy. Through this course I was able to learn and understand the behaviour of companion animals as well as a deep understanding of their health and well-being. I was able to volunteer at Dog watch sanctuary trust in Christchurch for 5 months while I completed my course in 2022.

I went on to work at Sharna's doggy day care for 5 months in 2023. Working in Sharna's allowed me to have some training with bathing and drying dogs, this is something I would be more than comfortable to offer you.

I am currently doing casual work at a doggy daycare and kennels in Ashburton.

I love animals and have a passion for their care. I was raised alongside cats but always wanted to be around dogs. I want to make Ashburton a better place for the care of dogs. There needs to be more places that genuinely care about dogs and their owners in our town, I can only start small and help individuals, one on one.

Available: Mid mornings, afternoons and early evenings.

What I offer: Administering oral medication for your pets, walking, nail clipping, home visits, house sitting, continue training that you want done

Home visits: I would be able to visit for as long as required. This can vary between a short check in or a longer pet sitting.

Whenever needed during home visits, I can water plants, collect mail and tend to anything else you request.

Dog walking: 30+ minutes per walk. All dogs are different but as a base I would walk your dog for a minimum of 30 minutes.

I am able to bring your dog to the local dog park in my car if that is something that you would like me to do.

As I live in town, an additional fee may apply for travel outside of town.

House sitting: I can house sit for up to a week at a time. I pride myself on my professionalism, therefore when house sitting I would not let anyone other than my emergency contacts know where I am in order to keep your house private. Doors and windows will be locked at all times apart from being used. Any security systems will be maintained and you can contact me at all times. All emergency numbers will be kept within reach.
