UPDATE: We've recently purchased a property in Swanson and will be leaving our lovely rental on Orakei Road. With this move we are downsizing and therefore will be slightly more restricted in both the number of dogs we can have at any one time, and the size of dog that we can accommodate. Please also note that while we have previously taken on puppies and younger dogs, we have decided that this energy is too much and not fair on Aubrey (who I very independent and very much likes her own space), and therefore we will only be taking on older dogs (three years of age and older). If you are an existing client this does not apply to you.

We both grew up with animals and have just started a family of our own by adopting our first pet in June 2022, our beautiful girl Aubrey.

We have previous experience pet sitting while our friends and family have been on vacation, and at these times we have stayed at their homes to do so. We started utilising Pawshake in May 2023.

We don't typically do day care during the week, however if you need to drop off your pet/s on a Friday afternoon in order to go away for the weekend please send us a message, Alex is usually home early on a Friday afternoon which means we can generally make it work.

Please note that in the weekends we will often have more than one dog at any one time, if you are uncomfortable with this please let us know when you enquire to ensure we understand what accommodations we might need to make to ensure you and your furry friend/s are comfortable.

We will only look after your pet if they are fully vaccinated; we need to ensure we can keep Aubrey safe.

If you are planning a holiday or a weekend away and would like your furry friend to stay with us during that time, we would really appreciate you booking a day in advance for them to visit, meet Aubrey, and explore the property. It is not a necessity (we understand this is not always possible) however we want to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as possible to ensure a smooth stay, and to reduce any risk of anxiety. We are only available for meet and greets during the weekends or in the evenings.
