Hi there - my name is Johanna, I'm a 32 year old government lawyer living in Auckland and I absolutely love animals. I am available to house/pet sit and to walk your dog.

I have grown up with cats, dogs, guinea pigs as part of my family - they really were family members.

I regularly pet sit my sister's dog Cassidy (see the last photo of Cass).

In my current living situation, as I rent, I don't have pets myself currently but my housemate has a beautiful one year old cat named Fisch. As I work from home, I spend most of my day with her as I find such important companionship in animals and she helps me with my work :) Fisch has a strict diet and has some intestinal issues so I have regularly given Fisch antibiotics and other anti-inflammatories so I'm quite competent with administering medications and looking after animals with high needs and health issues.

I am kind natured, very respectful - If its to house sit and to care for your dog(s) I am quite fit and love to go for walks and if its cats - I am also a homebody, I love to read, cook, garden and having a cat and dog to take care of would be amazing.

I am mature, reliable and I am quick to communicate and would treat your home and pet as if they were mine.

I would be confident to take care of several dogs or cats at a time in your home or if you have both cats and dogs that would be a bonus.

I work from home, so the only real time I leave is to go for a run or see family and friends over the weekend but even on the weekends I prefer to be at home, reading , gardening, cooking etc.

I have had both dogs and cats as dogs growing up. My family had up to three cats at once and we were never without a dog. I have provided medication to animals, taken animals to vets etc. so I am very comfortable and know when an animal isn't well - they would often not be eating well or for cats they would hide or sleep close to their food.

I am open to staying in a house to pet sit for a few nights but I would prefer longer house sits. I am happy to clean the house and water plants, garden, take out the bins, collect mail, am very conscious of security concerns and locking houses etc. and communicate regularly with the owners to send updates of your pets.
