Hi, I'm Kelly, 36 and originally from the UK, been in NZ for 12 months now and working & living in Blenheim. I enjoy hiking, cycling, kayaking and anything outdoorsy really, as well as an early morning gym session before work and a lunchtime walk. I really miss my family dog from the UK "Boris the Bulldog" 🐾 🐶 and wish he could be here with me but unfortunately that wasn't an option. I would love to have my own dog here to enjoy the outdoors with & care for but unfortunately my housemate/landlord won't allow this. I've had dogs my whole life so not having one here does feel a little strange, they are such great companions and full of character which I love! I really do miss not having my own dog which is why I would like to offer my services by taking care of others. I recently looked after the sales managers dog who I work with for a week whilst him & the family were away on the North Island (Chloe she's the chocolate lab in my profile picture) she loved the walks/ attention she got from me daily which was great as I also enjoyed spending time with her. It was important for me to keep her routine, to make her feel more at ease with the family not being there, so I made sure she was fed first thing in the morning before work and on the evening after work, I would walk her each lunchtime for 1 hour and on the weekend spend most of the day with her, which included 2-3hrs walk each day over the weekend. My services would include picking your pet up from your home and walking them for either a short or long periods (at your preference) feeding them at your home and staying with them for either short or long periods during the day. Unfortunately I am not able to have dogs in my house due to my landlord not allowing this, so I can only offer services outside my home.
