About Frankie
I've been obsessed with dogs since I was very young. As soon as I was in a position to have my own as an adult the decision was already made!
I believe that the bond you share with your animal is something like no other. I have two dogs of my own (5y+2y)which I spend each morning walking with them and practicing training along the way. There is always space to strengthen communication, stimulate their mind, and get some exercise in with dogs. Not every day is perfect but every day is progress and if nothing else it's always good to be outdoors.
My motivation to be a pet sitter is to add value and maintain structure to your pet's quality of life. I know traveling around can be a bit distressing for some pets, and us kiwi's love to be on the move, so I want to offer the option of making your pet feel at home if you're unable to be. Whether that be providing a walk at a time you're unable to, sticking to their eating schedule, having some companionship in the home, or coming for a day-stay.
I have experience walking and caring for both large and small dogs, and love to see the different personalities dogs have when you spend time with them. The experience of seeing a dog gain their confidence through guidance is very rewarding to me. I do ask that you give a good briefing of the dog's regular personality traits so that I can understand their baseline.
As I have 2 dogs of my own who are very friendly, I like to make sure pets are vaccinated and fixed as mine both are. Your dog will also need to get along with other dogs.
If there are any special food requirements you can let me know. It is important that your pet feels at home, so if you can provide their bed this usually helps them settle in nicely.
All dogs sleep inside, unless otherwise requested.
If you also have a cruisy handbag dog that is happy coming along for errands then that is fine with me too! No descrimination here.
Any other question's just flick me a message.
