I live on a small life style block 'Waikawa Sanctuary' with my horses, ducks, dog, chickens & cats. Waikawa Sanctuary is Bio Dynamic property to nurture the good health of its occupants. It provides a health base where my animals can live out natural lives with in nature. I am open to unvaccinated animals. I embody a holistic/naturalistic approach to animal & human health.

I grew up in a household with cats & dogs. I got my first horse at eleven. I'm a trained primary and kindergarten teacher. Working in Waldorf and Christian schools/ kindergarten. I enjoy Beaches, rivers and parks. Waikawa Beach & stream attracted my nature loving soul and we settled here on the banks of her tributaries.

I have been walking dogs for many years, I enjoy walking long distances & find dogs good company, their antics make me smile and laugh. Roaming the wild spaces with a companion fills something in me.

Animals and children generally seem to be attracted to me, not because I'm all over them, but because I'm attentive to their needs and body language. I set firm boundaries and expectations that are easy to follow, rewarding good behaviour. Allowing a positive relationship to develop built on mutual trust & respect.

I welcome the opportunity to met more beautiful animals and their owners, finding out what they want for their animals and how I can contribute to the process of happy pets and owners.
