Hello Pet Owners!
My name is Cheska and I am a Companion Animal Veterinarian, based in Wellington.
I am very experienced with animals; having two rescue cats of my own, as well as spending my working week aiming to improve the quality of life of many client-owned cats and dogs in our beautiful Wellington region.
I am comfortable with animals of all ages, size and breeds, including those requiring medication and/or basic training. I used to walk dogs and pet-sit during my degree, and I am now looking to do this on a casual basis alongside my work.
I am not offering pet hosting. I am happy to walk dogs, do house visits +/- overnight pet-sitting (depending on the dates).
Further details are below:
Dog walking; up to 2 dogs at a time (depending on size and temperament), on-leash at all times in non-enclosed spaces, 30 minutes minimum likely in the evenings subject to availability.
House visits; no limit on animals or breed, will stay for minimum 30 minutes (depending on type of visit and animal), happy to also perform odd jobs (i.e. checking the mailbox, taking bins out). Visits are restricted to early morning or evening when during the working week.
House sitting; no limit on the number of animals. Owners must be aware that I will resume my normal working hours during the requested booking period. I'm happy to bring your animal to work with me assuming they are crate trained and will play nicely with the other staff animals!

Cheska took care of our 11 week old puppy while we were out of town. She did a fabulous job keeping with his routine and training and has a great way with dogs. We came home to a very happy dog and tidy house. She communicated with us promptly and regularly. Would definitely use again.
