Hi I'm Peter, I run a dog grooming business from my home in Tawa where I live with my partner and my 2 small dogs Misty and Alfie who are all used to having other dogs around almost every day.

I completed formal training in dog care and grooming before starting my business. My partner and I have a spare room that we have recently started using to look after customers dogs when they go on holiday, this has been really enjoyable so I'm looking to do this more often.

We are happy to take up to 2 small/medium dogs from the same family for day care or overnight stays. Our guests have their own fenced off bedroom for sleeping or if we are briefly out. Crates are also available if the dogs prefer. During the day while supervised dogs are free to roam the house and play with our dogs. Grooming services provided for additional fee and I am confident in administering pet medications. 

We live in a residential area with a small fenced off side section. As I work from home I am always around to keep an eye on our guests and to take them outside to the toilet frequently throughout the day. We live within walking distance of the local dog park and are happy to take overnight stays for daily 30 minutue walks.

I have always been a dog person and dogs always seem to love me, which has been a key reason for the success of my dog grooming business.
