Heavenly Hounds is run my Angel Matthews, an Auckland based Force-Free trainer. Having a Certificate in Canine Behaviour & Training you can be assured your pets are left in qualified and safe hands. Her experience includes Canine Attendant at SPCA, Farm Hand and currently runs puppy preschool for Animates so is knowledgeable in teaching Positive Reinforcement training methods. 

Her commitment extends beyond TRAINING, WALKING & SITTING ; it's about fostering a sense of joy, security and genuine connection with every furry friend. Our aim is to create a space where you and your beloved companions thrive and meeting the specific needs of every owner. Your success is our success here at Heavenly Hounds!

All services will require a meet and greet to help create a tailored plan that will suit you. There is also an application form to be submitted to ensure we have all the needed information to set your pets up to succeed. 

Dog sitting through Heavenly Hounds is within the nurturing embrace of your own home. We feel this is a much more comfortable experience and low stress experience for your pet. 

Dog walking through Heavenly Hounds are on lead at all times unless reliable recall which at an extra cost we can discuss training. We provide individualised walks but also an option for pack walks (Max 4) if undertaken a trial to bond the pack together. We want the walks to be calm, controlled yet fun and exciting.

We also offer personalised 1 on 1 training sessions, from general obedience to problem behaviours to fit seamlessly into your schedule. At Heavenly Hounds, we strictly avoid the use of any aversive tools and methods, opting for a humane and ethical approach. Our commitment is to build trust and create enjoyable experiences for your furry friend through reward- based training. 

We have reliable transport, an SUV for large breeds. As well as a full license and knowledge in pet first aid.
