 Hi I’m Heather

Dogs, cats and chickens have been a big part of my family for years. My beloved rescue terriers passed away within a year of each other in their late teens leaving a huge space in my heart and home. With work commitments I can no longer be an at-home dog mum so for the first time in 25 years find myself dog-less. 

I would be delighted to provide your dog with a home away from home when you’re away. I’m just a few minutes walk from a dog-friendly beach, parks, and bush walks so there’s lots of adventures and fun to be had in my care. My backyard is very secure and fully fenced and my home is very dog-friendly (which includes cuddles on the couch and yes, even the bed if it’s okay with parents)  

You'll receive regular updates and pics and are welcome to check in anytime you feel the pang of missing your pets. They will be by my side constantly and if I do pop out it would be for no more than an hour. We can even go for short car rides to shops with your permission. Own seatbelts, if required please :)

I can assure you that your precious pup will get loads of affection, attention and protection while in my care. Every dog is unique with their quirks and sensitivities, ages and stages and you can rest assured their needs will be catered for so they feel safe and loved in your absence.
