Kia ora, I'm Sassi. I am an animal lover and pet owner. I grew up with cats, dogs and fish. As someone who can work from home a lot I would like to be able to share my time and help out others. I am available after work and on evenings and sometimes lunchtimes. I live in suburbia and can take dogs on walks there or take them to a nearby off-leash area. I am also close to a short hike in the forest. I currently rarely offer dog walking services due to lack of availability. 

I have one large dog and one cat right now. My dog is part German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute and Border Collie so I am used to dealing with large dogs. I have experience doing basic dog training as I completed Domestic Obedience levels 1 and 2. My dog also passed the Canine Good Citizen Basics assessment. 

I fostered cats and kittens for the SPCA and have housed over 20 cats. This included administering medication and wound care.

I would love to look after your animals and take great care of them. I am happy to do home visits to feed animals or occasionally walk dogs. In future I may be able to do day care and overnight stays as well. I am happy looking after all sizes of dogs depending on a meeting first to make sure your dog is friendly. If you are looking for someone to come over to your house to feed pets we can meet before with no committment to book. 

I am currently available at lunchtimes and evenings during the week and anytime on weekends. 

Pet sitting services: Home visits will usually be about 30 minutes and include supplying food and water, administering oral medications, playing/spending time with the pet, and cleaning up any messes. If you would like me to come several times in one day you will need to book multiple home visits. I can also provide additional services such as bringing in the mail, putting out rubbish and watering plants. 

Dog walking: i currently don't offer dog walking due to lack of time. Dog walks will be around 1 hour and can be in suburban areas, parks or small hikes depending on preference. It can also be a combination of walk and playtime within 1 hour if it works better for your dog. I will walk one dog at one time to ensure full control. 

I will make sure your home is fully locked up when I leave and your pets are in their dedicated area safely secured.
