Hi, Miriam here!

I have over 8 years of private pet-sitting experience. This involves mostly staying over at clients' houses in the North, Central, and West Auckland areas. 

I have taken care of dogs, cats, rats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish. I have experience in giving oral medication to animals, dealing with incontinence and hyperactivity, and cleaning up "gifts" that cats have brought inside. I have even cared for a completely blind dog once. 

I am security conscious and can ensure that doors are kept locked at all times during my stay, if required. I am also hygiene-conscious and aim to leave the house in cleaner condition than when I arrive. 

Since I have to go to the office for my day job, I am available to care for pets between the hours of 6pm-7:30am, depending on location.

Typically my stays will include any or all of the following:

• Pet grooming
• Dog walking (max 1 hour per day)
• Watering plants
• Collecting mail
• Basic house-cleaning

I am more of a cat person than a dog person, but I love them all. I am not allowed pets at my place, so appreciate the chance to keep an eye on others' for a while. I especially enjoy giving acquaintances, friends, and family the opportunity to enjoy their holidays while their pets entertain me. :)
