My name is Rina, a 23-year-old Japanese certified dog groomer and trainer. Fluent in conversational English, available to offer dog grooming and pet-sitting services in my spare time, outside of a full-time grooming job (9 AM to 5 PM). Pet sitting services are provided at your home for your convenience.

Pet sitting started as a way to help dogs and cats live stress-free, comfortable lives through thoughtful interaction. After attending an animal vocational school in Japan for two years, certifications in dog grooming and training were obtained, along with studies in dog and cat nursing. While not holding a specific qualification in nursing, a solid background was built in animal care.
Previous work experience includes working at a privately-owned grooming salon in Japan, handling grooming, dog walking, and managing a dog hotel. Additionally, time spent at a pet shop involved caring for small animals such as rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds, allowing for experience in their care as well.
A lifelong love for dogs began in childhood, with a dachshund named Jetta and a Shetland Sheepdog named Neff currently at home in Japan, where my family takes care of them.
Experience with medication administration is also present, excluding injections, ensuring comprehensive care.
Concerns about being Japanese are understandable, but rest assured that the necessary qualifications are in place, ensuring reliable and trustworthy care for pets.

•Dog Walking:$30-
Walks range from 1-2 hours, depending on the dog’s age and physical condition. Walks take place in low-traffic areas like beaches, trails, and parks. With a sports watch, regular updates are provided on the distance covered and the locations visited.
•Home Visits:$30-
Sessions last 1-2 hours and can include receiving mail, watering plants, feeding pets, changing water, and cleaning litter boxes for both dogs and cats.
•Overnight Pet Sitting:$70-
Overnight stays are available, and it’s appreciated if a bed can be provided. A to-do list would be helpful for clarity and efficiency.
•Grooming Services
•Nail clipping: $15
•Brushing: $10
•paw trimming: $15
•Ear cleaning: $5
With a background as a former bicycle racer, there’s confidence in physical strength and the ability to handle active pets. Trail running with dogs is also something to look forward to!
Regular updates with photos and messages will be provided during reservations, ensuring peace of mind.

Was affectionate and playful with our cats, taking extra care each day.
Rina has been amazing for us. She made sure that both our cats were fed and played with at least once every day, including one who likes to hide. When we got stuck and not able to get home, with no notice, she took on an extra 3 days work providing the same great quality, and pictures of them playing and eating, just to show how they were doing. We would recommend Rina for anyone, and will definitely use her again.
