Hello,
My name is Tara, I'm 28 and based in central Wellington.
I have had pets my entire life (dogs, cats, sheep) and feel well equipped and comfortable looking after them. My own sweet elderly cat passed away earlier this year and while I do not feel ready to get another, I know I am missing the comfort and cuddles and I am looking to share my love + kindness for cats and dogs where I can and take the stress out of your holiday too.
I would consider myself kind, gentle and highly organised and have experience with cats who can be quite anxious and thrive in routine.
I am not able to look after pets in my home as I do not have the space, but I am more than happy to come and look after your pets in their familiar space in your home. I am very available in the weekends and have flexible/changing work hours during the week to feed pets too, so if you are going away for longer than the weekend - please get in touch!
I have my own vehicle so can travel easily all over the city. I am keen to get involved in cat sitting and cat feeding, and dog walking for 30min-1hour at a time (depending on the activity needs of your pet) at beaches/local parks if you/your pet has a preference of spot. Happy to water plants/collect mail if need be too.
