Hi my name is Laura and I'm 23!

My passion is working with animals and started from my first job at Pony Parties leading ponies and attending to all basic animal care needs for our furry friends. I continued working holidays and weekends throughout my teens until I went to study and got certificates in Animal care and veterinary nursing, I carried out placements for a year within a couple clinics to get experience and not long after I ended up working casually over the Christmas period at a doggie daycare and kennels/cattery which I ended up absolutely loving the job and how rewarding it was so I stayed for a further 2 and a half years. I started in the kennels for the first year then I moved to the daycare and loved being able to maintain good relationships with our customers and growing bonds with our regular daycare doggies. I made a tough decision to departure on my own journey a few months ago and have loved house/pet sitting and dog walking recently, although I decided to get back into casual/part time kennel work. I have time on my hands to give so much love and pampering for your furry friends.

I have lived on a lifestyle block the past 10 years and we have plenty of animals including sheep, cows, chickens, dogs, horses, fish. So I’ll have no problem making sure your pets are well looked after!

The services I am offering include

•Dog walking, I will come to your home and collect your dog for a stroll either around your area or I love going on walks to the Quarry. I will walk your dog for roughly 45 minutes to an hour, I can do longer walks on request! My dog would love to join on a walk if your pet is social, she’s fully vaccinated and super friendly.

•Animal sitting at owners home, I will come stay in your home and look after your furry friends, I’m super respectful of your space and home and will clean up after myself and treat your home and pets as if they are my own! I can look after all pets (farm pets included) and provide all the care and attention needed, I can also bring in mail and water gardens or plants. I’m experienced in administrating oral and under the skin (injected) medication, I had administered all medications over the past year and a bit daily at my previous job. I prefer not to do longer or further stays unless close to where I am as I have plenty of my own pets and have to travel back daily.

•Home visit

I can drop into your home during the day and give cuddles and attention to your pets, give fresh water and top up food if needed, clean out litter trays, pick up dog poo, any other little jobs and walk your dog for a minimum of 30 minutes
