Experience

We are experienced sitters who can look after your pets and home while you're away. And we will be in North Canterbury from early 2025. So we are looking forward to moving to the mainland. We are both non-smokers and are in our early 40s. So no parties or shenanigans. My husband also has his full driver's license. We are both super tidy and respect people's property. Plus we both grew up on farms, so we can even take care of your plants if needed.

We are with your pets all day (and night)

My husband is a freelance designer and Master's student, working and studying anywhere with an Internet connection. I also work remotely doing business admin. So, at least one of us will be with the pets all day. While there might be a quick grocery run occasionally, if the shops/supermarket is nearby, we usually take the dogs with us as part of their exercise routine. One of us will do the shopping (usually me) while my husband stays outside with the dogs.

 Dogs and cats of all shapes, ages, and sizes...

We can look after dogs of all sizes from cute-as-a-button little Corgis to "barely-fit-in-the-house" Rotweillers. Also, we're happy to look after older pets as well. We ensure they get their little medicines on time. Plus, keep to any special dietary needs and exercise routines your pet(s) need.

...and other animals too

We've looked after fish, a Bearded Dragon, Turtles, Rabbits, Birds, a pet sheep, and even a pet hedgehog.

Daily updates of your pet(s)

Plus, we also send daily updates to your device of choice, along with photos - especially if they do anything super cute or funny. Because they always do :-)

Pets that require medication or have other medical needs.

We both have experience with older dogs and cats with various medical needs. Some that need oral medication twice daily, wear special braces or harnesses, and others that need that extra TLC because of age-related conditions. My husband will have started his degree in Animal Nutrition, via Massey University by the time we are in Christchurch, also.
