Hello!
I've grown up in the rural UK countryside and have been around dogs and animals my whole life - the days of life in the UK were always filled with one furry creature or another.
I've lived in NZ for 7 years now and miss so much having a dog, although not sure where we (my partner and I) will be settled for long term yet I'm holding off getting my own, and instead opt to look after friends dogs and pet sit where I can to be able to get my doggo fix!
In the UK I grew up with Golden Retrievers, Spaniels and Border Terriers so comfortable with small and large dogs, and also understand the needs of high energy dogs v's more chill ones :-)
The Area
I live in Westmere (no other animals live here, sadly!) with Cox's Bay, Meola Reef and Point Chev right on my doorstep and plenty of off road walking tracks around. My partner and I live in a lovely semi-detached house with a 6ft fully fenced garden.
I prefer to accommodate only one dog at a time, however if you have two who are familiar which each other I'm happy to have them :-) I'm a very active person so if you have a dog that needs lots of walks/longer walks I can ensure they get plenty of exercise both on leash and off leash. We have a park a stones throw from the house if they just need a leg stretch or coxs bay for a longer walk and to run off some energy and maybe meet other doggos.
Availability
In the day I'm a recruitment professional and work from home 2 days a week, and our office is also dog friendly. I live with my partner who also has 2 days a week WFH so have lots of flexibility between us. I'm able to offer day time sits, walks and overnight/weekend stays at our home.
Doggo Requirements
For a comfortable stay for your pooch, please provide harness/leash, poo bags, food/treats and bed or toys if required.
I'm not able to provide services for puppy's, being in a rental property I would hate for something to be damaged, sorry!
All dogs staying overnight need to be fully toilet trained :-)

Our 2 year old doodle stayed with Abi and her partner for 4 weeks and I've never felt better about leaving him. Abi sent us photos/videos regularly and provided such a loving environment for our pup. I wouldn't hesitate to have Abi look after our dog again.
