My name is Emma and I have recently moved from Ireland to Wellington, New Zealand. I am in my late 20's and I have loved animals from a young age. When I heard about this platform, I was excited to get set up as a pet sitter as it is what I consider a perfect job!

I have had many pets in the past (dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds to name a few!), and I have also stepped in and minded family and friend's pets when they are on holidays or just needed a favour. Currently, I have a British bulldog named Millie, two cats named Ozzie and Mammy cat and a horse named Mufty.

Dog walks:

I am happy for the duration of walks to be up to 1 hour. However, this length will vary depending on the dogs capabilities or normal preferences. Locations for the walks can also vary, with the priority always being that your pet is safe and happy!

Home visits:

Whether it is 1 or 2 home visits a day, I will stay with your pet for a minimum of 30 minutes. My pet being home alone is one of the things I personally stress about a lot so I am happy to stay with your pet and give them lots of cuddles and playtime (if that's what they want!) until I feel they are settled. If your pet is particularly anxious when you are away, I am happy to discuss staying for longer periods of time so you're pet is happier and you have peace of mind.

Doggy day care:

If you would like me to stay for the day, I am happy to stay for the duration that you will be gone from the house to ensure that your pet will not be home alone. Depending on the dog and what they like, I am happy to play, walk and give lots of hugs or if they prefer their own space, I am happy to just chill with them until you get home. If there is anything else you need done during the day like bringing in mail or watering plants, I am happy to discuss this during booking.

House sitting:

House sitting is very similar to day care, I will just be there a longer period of time. I will try my best to be there from when you leave to the time you can come home, however, if this is not possible, the length of the stay can be discussed during booking.

Unfortunately, I cannot accept animals into my apartment as it is a condition of the contract, however, I am happy to provide any of the other services mentioned on my profile.
