Hi! My name is Ellessa and I am 18 years old. I grew up in Cambridge, Waikato, and moved here this year for university. I have had experience working in Hospitals, and in hospitality, which were my more people-oriented jobs. I have a dog who is back in Cambridge named Luna. She is the one in my profile photo. I have experience with high-energy dogs and am willing to follow your methods to meet your dog's needs. I have previous experience house and pet sitting with a range of animals including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks and even a donkey! At one point I was looking after and walking 3 large dogs together, so I am fairly experienced and comfortable walking multiple dogs. My longest period of house sitting was for 6 weeks, where I had to look after 2 cats, a pig and two horses, for the entire duration. during this time there was a two week period where I was looking after two houses, and three dogs, whom I took on walks every day while ensuring my duties to the other animals were not left unattended. I would love to be a dog walker, I have always loved dogs and wanted to be around them, they are one of my favourite animals. I enjoy walks of any kind and would be very happy to be able to share that with a dog. Dog walking is also a great way for me to enjoy the outdoors, and I would be very happy to take your dog on nature walks. I can walk your pet for up to two hours and can provide treats for them if you wish. I am able to administer oral medication to pets, but am unable to do injections or offer grooming services. I have some experience in training so if you wish for me to continue with any work you are doing with your pet, I am very happy to follow your lead. 

 I am currently a first-year student at Victoria University, and so my hours are very flexible. I am free most afternoons and most weekends. I am unfortunately unable to pet sit due to my living in a student hall. However, I would be very willing to hang out with your dog during the day, it may just not be inside! I am based in Wellington Central, but I am willing to go to suburbs 30-45 minutes outside the city if required via public transport as I do not own a car. I am also very happy to house-sit or stay with your pets if that is something you prefer. 

There are some dog-friendly areas a 10-20 minute walk from where I Live, and the waterfront walk is also an option. the botanical gardens are about 20 minutes from my home

I offer house sitting and can stay at your house. I will follow your instructions for security measures for your pet and your home. The happiness and comfort of your pet is very important to me. For home visits, I am willing to stay for 1-3 hours and will keep your pet entertained, with whatever you are comfortable with.  

While dogs are preferred, I am willing and happy to look after any animal and would be happy to work with you to meet your pet's needs.
