Rebecca

My name is Rebecca, I’m from Sweden and I love animals. I moved to New Zealand in January, I have been studying curses remotely from Sweden until now, and I’m currently enjoying some time off. This makes me very flexible and gives me a lot of time to spend with furry friends.  

For a big part of my life I’ve been surrounded by animals, growing up on a farm with dogs, cows, hens and ducks. My upbringing in a pet-friendly household instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and empathy towards animals. 

I currently don’t have any pets myself and I miss having that companionship. But I’m very fortunate that many of my family and friends have animals, even my flat mates here in Hamilton. So I have a lot of previous experience with both house sitting, pet sitting and walking. I'm their go to-person!

I am honest, caring and reliable, a real animal lover. 

I’m an active person that spends a lot of time outdoors, rock climbing, going on long walks and hikes around Hamilton and Waikato. I often take our flat mate’s dog out for walks and gives her a lot or love and playtime at home.  

Dog walks – I am happy to take your dog out for about 1 hour walk in green areas around the neighborhood.

Daytime visits – It’s important for me to care for the house as well as the pets – which includes clean litter trays, play with and brush the pets, but also watering plants and bring in mail if required. I would happily spoil your pets for 30-40 minutes.

I am available mornings and afternoons most days, and make shore my calendar is updated.
