My name is Emily,

I am a 26 year old, reliable, university educated animal lover. I have recently purchased my first home, and moved to Wainuiomata, lower hutt. 

I have my own fur baby called Rosie, who I absolutely adore. I currently work full time, however my job is extremely flexible and completely remote. I also have my own reliable transport.

Before I became a remote worker, I commuted into the city. I found that my girl Rosie became quite lonely and it broke my heart every time I came home from a long work day, to see her so excited to see me. I would say she is the main reason I looked for a remote opportunity, as I know how important human interaction is to animals! This is why I have chosen to join this site, hopefully I am able to give another person peace of mind that their fur baby is being taken care of while they're away.

I have house-sat dogs a couple of times, but I wouldn't call myself an experienced dog-sitter. I am very open to this though! I also have a fully fenced area in my garden which would accomodate small to medium dogs.

I have however regulaly had individual cats stay for 1-2 week periods at my home. My cat is a very sweet soul, and I have had no problems (providing the staying cat is sociable) with the two of them in the same territory. 

I have also taken care of smaller animals, such as chinchillas and rats while their families are away. I do not accomodate the smaller animals at my home, but I pop in usually once a day to feeding and play times.
