About Tracy
Hi there :-)
My name is Tracy and I love being around CATS, giving them cuddles and listening to them purr is very therapeutic for me... and people in my life think I am the cat lady. I miss having a fur baby of my own to care for and spend time with. A friend heard about Pawshake and I thought it was safer than going to volunteer at the cat shelter... where I would want to take them all home!
I was born into a family with a siamese cat named Spock and a border collie named Scooby. You can see what TV shows influenced my parents. :-) Most of my life I have had a cat or two living with me. My last cat Kelly (a common short hair tabby) died some years ago at the age of 18 years old, leaving a huge void. More recently I care for the neighbours cats and like to think I am their home away from home.
I work full time, and am able to work remotely a couple of days a week if your special fur baby needs more attention during the day than the evening. My preference is to housesit for you while you are away and care for your special CAT(s), rather than do day visits before and after work.
I have a clean Ministry of Justice record and am a registered volunteer with a Wellington based charity.
I am happy to stay at your house and care for your loved CAT(s) and your home.
I will consider your request if it is short notice and happy to stay from 1 night up to 3 weeks. Anywhere across the wider Wellington region.
Please note I am not able to care for your wonderful dog(s) are I have sensitive hearing and barking causes me stress. My apologies, aroha nui.
Looking forward to hearing from you :-)
