I am in my early 60s, and a dog lover. I love taking my two small dogs, Murray and Ruby, to the Redwoods dog park every other day. I am self employed and work from home so am available all day. I prefer to work with small and medium sized dogs only.
I offer:
30 minute dog walks at the Redwoods dog park (off leash if you are agreeable and dog is responsive)
30 minute dog walks from your home (on leash)
30 minute home visits for all pets (assuming owner will be there at night)
Pet feeding including a 30 minute play time
Plant watering, mail collection etc.
Administering medications orally.
Cleaning up after pets.
I have completed an Animal care certificate which includes first aid and how to tell if an animal is ill. I majored in dogs, cats and caged birds. I have experience looking after my own dogs and cats but have never owned caged birds. One of my dogs is a rescue dog so I am familiar with their issues.
I will only handle vaccinated pets. I am happy to work with puppies as long as they are fully vaccinated. I have had cats in the past so I know cats as well as dogs. I do not have a van so can only take one or two small dogs in the car or one, if I am taking my dogs too. I can look after animals over Christmas. I am a responsible mature adult who you can trust to look after your animals and home.
